Have you caught up with yourself lately or are you always behind your promises? Trying to catch up is very tiring and that’s understandable. Every voice is saying, It’s a race! Survive! Be the First One! Don’t get left behind!
Look, while I understand that whole mantra of life, it is missing one thing--you. It’s missing YOU. Holla if you hear me girl cause look, you is important, you is ki--you get where I’m going here.
So I ask you this question, “Who are you”? Many of us may consider ourselves as visionaries:
A visionary is “a person with original ideas about what the future will or could be like”. We all have ideas, but many times we are only consumed by what we see. Our vision, while it gives the greatest motivation to succeed, also allows space for the most upsetting reality of failure. Here’s where I say STOP. Stop looking at what others are doing, stop listening to EVERY motivational message from media as Bible, stop believing that you can’t, stop saying what you don’t have, just STOP. When you take a moment to breathe you find comfort in knowing that so long as you are walking, jogging, or even crawling in your purpose you are okay.
When I’m feeling empty I ask God to fill that crater sized hole in my spirit that can only be filled by him--actually I started that today--but you can pick up what I’m putting down. Just ask without fear or doubt. Becoming is exactly this, it’s the process of getting from one state to another for the sake of your creative abilities. It is literally seeing your dream, your vision come to fruition. It’s a smile after you’ve worked all day. It’s the God view of good after he made the world and more importantly, after he made you to fit in this world.
Okay, I really don’t want to stop typing, but I’ll let you go. Please, if you are reading this believe me when I say it’s never too late to BE. So lift ya hands up (unless you’re driving--wait why are you driving and reading) repeat after Eminem with me and say, I AM whatever I Say I AM, If I wasn’t then why would I say I am?!! Why would you?
